Markdown Dashboards 101
Each TAP supplier has access to core dashboards conveying data about sales of marked down product: CVP, MD to Zero, and MD Total. These dashboards each have their own specification of which markdown code from Retail Link their sales records fall under. Markdown codes represent events or categories of marked down product.
MD to Zero
Total of sales data for everything in the Markdown to Zero category. Markdown to Zero includes records that fall under Code 1600 – Damaged to 0.
CVP
Total of sales data for everything in the Customer Value Program category. CVP includes records that fall under Code 1815 – CVP Reduction.
MD Total
MD Total is not a total of all markdown data. This dashboard falls under all other codes. It is the remaining markdown data, rounding out the three dashboards to provide a complete picture. For references to other codes, see list below.
