What is EDI Forwarding?

EDI forwarding is very similar to the idea of a ‘carbon copy’ in email. When you setup EDI forwarding SBI’s FTP server will be added as a secondary recipient for your Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN)

WHAT

• ASN 856 EDI Document forwarding to SBI’s FTP Site
• Standard X12 EDI Formatted file

HOW

• SBI has an FTP website for you to forward all Walmart ASN EDI documents
• We will be sending you your unique login information – Which should be relayed to your EDI Provider, or internal EDI Support
• SBI will work with your EDI Provider if requested to help facilitate this process

WHEN

• This should be completed ASAP
